Throughout your pregnancy you will be given multiple different types of information from a variety of sources to cover the many aspects of your pregnancy, and yes - it's a lot to take in at first!

Through national cross-platform awareness and education initiatives, we at Still Aware are committed to providing evidence-based information backed by research to help you lead a safe and empowered pregnancy.

Below is a list of essential readings we recommend you familiarise yourself with first. After that, be sure to get to know our free tools for risk reduction: the Still Aware Your Pregnancy Brochure, and the Still Aware Daily Actions, which you can refer to every day in pregnancy. Finally, track your pregnancy week-by-week on our Track Your Pregnancy Page.

Essential Reading

  1. Why Do Babies Movements Matter?

  2. Safe Sleeping in Pregnancy

  3. Trusting Your Intuition

  4. Common Pregnancy Myths

If you have any concerns about your pregnancy speak to your antenatal carer as they are the only people who can accurately advise you. Remember to trust your instincts, listen to your baby, and if you notice any changes in your baby's movements, contact your care provider immediately.
