Jane Warland is a registered midwife and holds a joint appointment at Curtin University and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth. Jane’s daughter Emma was stillborn at term in 1993 and she has since been a passionate researcher into preventative and modifiable risk factors for stillbirth, as well as promoting awareness of stillbirth.
An influential person in the education of midwives in the field, she has a strong opinion on stillbirth awareness which aligns with the Still Aware mission
(RM, PhD, Grad Cert Ed Uni Teach).
