My name is Jacqueline Hilfy, I am currently in the final stages of my Bachelor of Psychological Science and have a strong passion for research and policy.
As a single mother who spent time in government care, I am dedicated to improving support systems for families and children. My personal experience with pregnancy loss has deepened my understanding of the emotional impact of miscarriage and reinforced the need for comprehensive support for parents. This journey has strengthened my commitment to advocating for better support during difficult times.
I recently completed a placement at the Australian Centre for Child Protection, where I applied research methodologies to real-world challenges. Through both my lived experience and academic background, I hope to contribute meaningfully to the Consumer Advisory Board.
